FROM THE EAST

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

Well, it doesn’t seem possible that the year is coming to a close.  It has been a very interesting, challenging and rewarding year and an honor to serve Pitman Chapter this year.  It has been  especially rewarding during the year with our very own Brother Carl Milley, serving as Most Worthy Grand Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star of NJ.

We would like to thank the membership for all their support and assistance this year with the Receptions, Grand Officers’ Night, Master Masons’ Night, and all our other activities.

We wish our incoming Worthy Matron, Sister Beth Barnish and Brother Glenn Metzger, Worthy Patron, who was pinned by Sister Beth on February 6, a most enjoyable and successful 2012-2013 year.

Congratulations to Sister Deborah D. Martin, GO, on receiving her 25-year pin, Sister Olive Bugg, 70-year bar; and Sister Ruth Ingram, on obtaining 65-years of service to our OES.

Also, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Brother Glenn was given the commission of Grand Representative of Florida and Brother Dan Cooper read a valentine at our February meeting for Sister Isabella Cooper who will be installed as Worthy Grand Electa at Grand Session.  CONGRATULATIONS Brother Glenn and Sister Isabella!  Pitman Chapter is very proud and honored to have you represent us in the Grand Chapter.

Again, we thank you for all your support and assistance this year.

In Friendship and Love,

                                                         Janet E. Griffith, Worthy Matron

                                                         Danny L. Cooper, Worthy Patron
